Terms Overview:
These Terms and Conditions apply to international maritime carriage within and with the European Union, ensuring compliance with the Convention on the International Carriage of Goods by Sea (e.g. the Hague-Visby Rules) and relevant EU regulations.

Terms & Conditions:

Contract of Carriage: The contract of carriage by sea shall be expressly agreed in writing and shall contain the consignor, the carrier, the consignee and the terms of carriage.
Liability for transportation: The carrier is liable for loss or damage suffered by the goods during transportation, except for force majeure factors (e.g. war, natural disasters).
Loading and unloading costs: Loading and unloading costs shall be borne by the consignor or consignee, according to the contract.
Insurance Requirements: The Carrier shall provide appropriate insurance for carriage by sea, but the Carrier shall not be liable for compensation in excess of the insured amount under the terms of carriage.
Delivery at the port of destination: After the goods arrive at the port of destination, the carrier shall notify the consignee to take delivery of the goods as soon as possible, and specify the delivery date and delivery method in the contract.
Indemnification Clause: The carrier shall compensate the value of the goods according to the contract within 30 days after the damage or loss of the goods.
